After all the excitement of Beechworth :o) it was great to finally hit Melbourne for 3 days. Stayed at the Adelphi Hotel, funky little hotel in Flinders Lane, right in the heart of the CBD.
The hotels pool sticks out from the roof and over the street below, very cool.
My room
The thing I loved most about Melbourne was the use of space, the freedom to create art in the city and the total eclecticness of it all. There were some fantastic laneways, full of life, every corner had a suprise waiting. Like Flinders Lane, which really reminded me of a New York City streetscape...
and Degraves st, which had the most amazing street art and fantastic little street cafes
and then there was this, which really requires no words :o)
