This is what the front of a cyclone looks like, video taped from my vehicle a few hours ago, as soon as it got over us it dumped 75mm of rain on us in 90 minutes. That's some countries annual rainfall.

Bad news is that now all the roads are flooded and they've closed them off. I have a flight home booked for tomorrow afternoon. and at this stage I'll be extremely lucky to get out and into Newman, 200km's away in order to catch it. May have to ride this cyclone out.

Good thing is that by the time it reaches us it should just be a huge rain depression and the winds will have slowed a lot. But not much to do when your flooded in.
