A conversation my ex and I had with a guy in a bank in Washington DC

Guy 1 in the queue "wow that accent where you guys from?"

Us "Australia"

Guy 1 "Where?"

Us "Australia"

Guy 1 "Oh down South America way?"
.
Us "Um, no"
.
Guy 2 pipes in "You know man, Sydney, where they had the Olympics"

Guy 1 "Ahh yeah that's off the coast of Canada right?"

.
Don't get me wrong I like Americans, half of em anyway. I loved visiting there and I want to go back, just not right now. Their problem is just that they're governed by a bunch of fools and around half the population are blind easily led unworldly fools. But hey that's the same here yeah? Cept we know where the US of A is.
